Presenting our work at the Susan Love International Symposium on the Human Breast.
I collaborate with a lab at the University of Massachusetts led by Kathleen Arcaro, PhD, that studies breastmilk to predict future risk of breast cancer. We received a Department of Defense (DoD) grant to study the breastmilk of BRCA mutation carriers and are seeking volunteers. We also are collecting samples of milk from lactating women who are scheduled to undergo a breast biopsy or are diagnosed with breast cancer.
