Unfortunately, we encounter countless environmental toxins in our world today. This ranges from inhaled smoke, the operating room environment to toxins in our water. As with other substances we ingest, the risk of giving formula versus the risk of continuing breastfeeding with potential (if at all) for transfer into milk should be weighed.
