    Acanthosis Nigricans is skin pigmentation that occurs in the neck region and under the arms. It may be associated with pre-diabetes or insulin resistance, but not always. If you have this and you are not producing a lot of breastmilk, the hypolactation (low production) may be related to changes in insulin sensitivity in your breast. Seek evaluation from a healthcare provider for further guidance.
