Exhaustion Postpartum

Parenting. Is. Exhausting. If people aren’t telling you’re they’re exhausted, frazzled, and stretched thin at times (or sometimes all the time, depending on where you are postpartum), they aren’t being honest or they aren’t taking care of kids themselves.  I.e. if you have a night nurse, a day nanny, and you’re out shopping, getting your nails done, and posting selfies on Instagram, you’re not in it.  Of course, it is very important to have time to yourself and care for your mental and physical help.  But it’s also not abnormal in any way to have a difficult transition to parenthood, or hit bumps in the road later on.
